Covid Catch Up Funding

“Children and young people across the country have experienced unprecedented disruption to their education as a result of coronavirus (COVID-19). Those from the most vulnerable and disadvantaged backgrounds will be among those hardest hit. The aggregate impact of lost time in education will be substantial, and the scale of our response must match the scale of the challenge.” [ ]

Seven Hills will receive £39,600 for the school year from the Covid 19 Catch Up Fund. This money needs to be spent on:

  • Helping students catch up on lost education
  • Supporting students to return to school
  • Ensuring we target the physical health and mental wellbeing of our students
  • Support the rebuilding of friendships and social engagement
  • Focus resources on settling new students who received little of no transition visits prior to attendance at Seven Hills
  • Supporting students to re-engage with learning, specifically supporting students back into externally accredited accredited programmes of learning
